Maybach presents the facelifted 57 S model, a synthesis of style and performance dedicated to the most demanding customers.
November 2nd 2010 – The 2010 facelift that has interested all Maybach models, with designer’s attention particularly dedicated to the styling concept and to the performance enhancement, although reducing consumptions and emissions - according to the EU5 standard.
The Maybach 57 S impresses the viewer with its smooth yet dynamic lines and with its distinguishing marks: the lowered ride height, the twin louvres of the radiator grille together with the LED daytime driving lights integrated in the front bumper and the state-of-the-art bi-xenon tube headlamps with sorrounds painted in the same vehicle colour.
Even when the Maybach 57 S is viewed from the rear it is clear that the designers have covered every angle: the elegant boot concept with chrome trim on the lid, dark red tinted reversing lights and the amazing visible tailpipes are a declaration of uniqueness that set the standards, making this vehicle an automotive icon.
In true Maybach’s style, customers have the possibility to choose through a countless serie of combinations of paint finishes, sport wheel designs and optional features to realize a unique vehicle, able to mirror the owner’s charisma.
The satisfaction that comes from exercising total, effortless control over the prodigious 463-kW output of the 12-cylinder engine, able to reach an impressive top speed of 275 km/h, is enhanced by the outstandingly agile handling combined with truly impressive driving dynamics and stability. Compelling results gained through the intelligent suspension and brake systems, expressly adapted for this model.
Comfort is another Maybach’s benchmark: in the Maybach 57 S the driver is able to feel perfectly rested thanks to the special interior design and to the ergonomically shaped integral seats with their gentle massage function. The interior appointments reflect the special characteristics of the vehicle: a four-spoke multifunction steering wheel with function buttons, fine leather and contrasting trim elements, also available in carbon fibre and black piano lacquer, confer on the interior a special aura.
Trend-setting equipment – such as DISTRONIC adaptive cruise control, as well as an optional solar module along with four sidebags and four windowbags – testifies to the fact that Maybach also occupies the position of technology leader in the high-end luxury segment.
